Baking with nuts and fruit

Tossing nuts or fruits like blueberries in a little flour will keep them from sinking in a clump in the bottom of your baked goods. If your baking something like muffins where you stir wet ingredients into dry, just toss the nuts or fruit into the dry ingredients first. If your making something cake-like where you cream the butter and sugar first, borrow a little of the recipe’s flour to toss with the nuts or fruit in a small bowl and add at the end.
