This healthy breakfast is quick and easy, low in fat, and covers all the food groups. You can eat a different version every day by choosing any combination of fruit and yogurt. I most often use blueberries, but in the winter I really like diced apples cooked into the oatmeal with a touch of cinnamon and topped with honey yogurt. Have fun!
1/4 cup quick cooking oats
1 heaping teaspoon oat bran
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup fruit
1 single serving container Greek yogurt
Just combine the oats, oat bran, and water in a microwave safe cereal bowl. Microwave on high; mine takes 1 minute, 15 seconds. Top the oatmeal with your choice of fruit and yogurt. That’s it!
