The first part of Two Part Chicken, this sauce can also be used for grilling seafood or fish.
2 3/4 cups red wine vinegar
1 3/4 cups water
3/4 cup white wine
3/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup prepared mustard
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbs salt
2 Tbs crushed red pepper
2 Tbs ground black pepper
1. Cook all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally, one hour.
2. Use as a mop sauce for grilling poultry.
