I came up with this recipe to go along with Ree Drummond, the Pioneer Woman’s recipe for Meat Pies. It has a Sloppy Joe sort of flavor.

1 15-oz can tomato sauce
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
2 Tbsp white vinegar
2 Tbsp brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder

1. In a small saucepan, combine all ingredients, stirring well.
2. Bring to a boil, then simmer 5-10 minutes.
3. Serve in small individual bowls for dipping.
