A garlic press makes quick work of turning a clove of garlic into a paste. This one is double sided. You press the garlic out of the press with the flat side, then clean it by turning the pronged side through the holes of the press before washing. I often prefer using garlic paste rather than minced garlic when I want a more subtle garlic flavor.
A garlic press similar to this one will cost somewhere around $12.00 in the big discount stores, and slightly more in kitchen stores.
