Slow Cooker Buffets are not for everybody.  They take a lot of storage space, and if you don’t entertain with large meals you probably don’t need one.  However, this small appliance comes in handy when the need arises.  It does a good job of keeping multiple dishes hot, but I don’t use mine to cook from scratch.  I prefer to pre-cook the dishes and only use the buffet to keep the food at serving temperature.
This one was a gift, so I don’t know how much it cost, but I’ve seen plenty of them around for under $50.00.
